Acceptance
By accessing myCalanex you agree to these Terms. If you access the platform on behalf of an Institution, you also agree to that Institution's policies.
Accounts and roles
Access is governed by role: Student, Practitioner (Advisor), or Institution Admin. You agree to keep your credentials confidential. Misuse, including impersonation or attempting to elevate roles, may result in suspension.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory content.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- No uploading malware or executable code.
AI-generated content
myCalanex provides AI-assisted suggestions (resume feedback, interview prompts, outreach drafts). These are tools to support, not replace, your judgment and your advisor's review. You are responsible for what you submit to employers.
AI in myCalanex does not make decisions about you. Scores and feedback it produces are coaching aids only, not grades, rankings or approvals, and nothing is denied to you based on an AI output. Decisions, such as approving a resume, are made by people. If you believe information about you is wrong, you can correct it in your account or contact your counselor or support@mycalanex.com.
Institutional data
Institutions remain the controllers of their student data. We act as a processor under our data processing agreement.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows and outages may occur.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Institutions may terminate per their agreement.
Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided "as is." Career outcomes are not guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, myCalanex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
