Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to inclusive design
Our commitment
myCalanex is built to be usable by every student, advisor, and adult learner. We aim to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and align with Section 508 standards for U.S. public institutions.
What we do
- Semantic HTML, descriptive labels, and keyboard navigation across all primary workflows.
- Minimum 44×44 px tap targets on mobile navigation.
- Color contrast meeting AA in both light and dark UI surfaces.
- Visible focus rings and skip-to-content support on routed pages.
- Resume templates that are screen-reader friendly and ATS-parseable.
- Plain-language copy for advisors supporting first-generation and adult learners.
Known limitations
Some preview-only marketing animations may include motion that isn't yet wrapped in prefers-reduced-motion. We are actively addressing this.
Assistive technology
The platform is tested against current versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), and TalkBack (Android), in Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email support@mycalanex.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Institutions can also raise barriers through their dedicated success manager.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is reviewed each release. New features ship with keyboard, contrast, and screen-reader checks as part of QA.
